Our business, Md. Farman Haider & Co., is located right near the Fort Gloster Jumma Masjid in Bauria. It’s a very specific part of the area, and most people use the masjid as a landmark to find us. We’ve been working out of this location for a long time. It’s a place with a lot of history and the community here is very tight-knit. We aren't a big company with many branches; it’s just us right here in Bauria. The daily routine is pretty much the same every week. We open up the shop and see who comes by. It’s often the same people we’ve known for years. The area can get busy during prayer times or when there’s something going on at the masjid, but otherwise, it’s a steady kind of place. We don't have any polished sales pitches or glossy brochures. We just do our work and try to be helpful to the people who walk in. Our space is functional and simple. We focus on the tasks at hand rather than trying to look like a big corporation. It’s a practical way to run a business. We like being part of this neighborhood. It’s where we belong and where we do our best work every day. If you're near Fort Gloster, you'll find us easily enough. We stay here through the day until the evening quiet sets in over Bauria and we head home.
