Over here in Ferozepur City, specifically in Tahli Mohalla, we’ve been running P R Engg Services out of house number 25. Punjab has a way of being both busy and relaxed at the same time, and our shop reflects that. We handle a lot of different engineering tasks, mostly fixing things that break down in the local area. The workshop isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s full of old tools, scraps of metal, and a few calendars on the wall that are probably out of date. We don't mind the clutter because it shows we’ve been working. People from the neighborhood drop by quite often, sometimes for work and sometimes just to chat for a minute. We like being part of the mohalla. It means we have to do a good job because we see our customers at the market or the tea stall later. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It’s just us doing the technical work we know how to do. Sometimes the power goes out, or we’re waiting on a part to arrive from another city, but we manage to keep things moving. We’ve been at this for a while now and don't plan on changing much. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings us. It’s a simple life, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week.
