Kalia Eye & Maternity Hospital

We have been here at Kalia Eye & Maternity Hospital for quite a long time now. If you head outside Delhi Gate and look right across from the Manjeet Palace, you will spot our building. It isn't anything fancy, just a practical place where we take care of eyes and help local mothers with their new babies. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded because we have a lot of people coming in from the surrounding neighborhood. It can be quite noisy out there on the street, but once you step inside, things usually get a little quieter. Our staff stays busy with daily checkups and various surgeries. We see a lot of families, and some of them have been coming to see us for many years. We just try to keep things running as smoothly as possible from day to day. It is hard work, especially when the traffic outside gets stuck or things get hectic, but we manage. You don't always need an appointment for every little thing, though it definitely helps if you have one. Mostly, it is about getting the job done for the people who need us. We have a few rooms set aside for the maternity cases and a separate area for the eye patients. We keep the equipment clean and try to listen to what everyone needs. It is not always easy, but it is what we do here near the gate. We just do our best to help whoever walks in.
