G.D.C Enterprises

G.D.C Enterprises is based at Plot No- 2 in the Old Subzi Mandi area. It’s a bit of an older part of town, right near the Bhram Kumari Ashram. You can usually tell when there’s a program going on at the Ashram because the street gets really full of cars and people. We’ve been in this specific plot for quite some time now. The building is simple, nothing too modern, but it works for what we do. Being near the old vegetable market means it’s always lively, especially in the early hours. We usually start our day when most people are still finishing breakfast. There’s a lot of loading and unloading that happens around here. It’s not the quietest place to work, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. We aren’t trying to be the biggest company out there; we just want to handle our business and go home to our families. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other times it’s just us sitting around talking about the news. The space we have is mostly used for storage and handling orders. We don’t have a reception desk or a lobby. If someone stops by, they usually just find us in the back or near the entrance. It’s a practical setup for a practical kind of business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our little spot stays pretty much the same.
