We’re over on Mks Road in Guru Harsahai. Our shop is full of rubber and the smell of new tyres. It’s a messy place, to be honest. We have stacks of tyres everywhere, and sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit. We spend most of our time jacking up cars and changing wheels. It’s greasy work, and our clothes are usually covered in black marks. We deal with all kinds of vehicles, from small scooters to bigger trucks. Sometimes people come in with a puncture, and we have to fix it while they wait. The road outside can get pretty busy, so we are always moving things around to make space. We’ve been here for a good while, so most of the local drivers know us. We don't have any fancy machines, just the basic stuff we need to get the job done. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and manual work. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic. Other days, everyone seems to have a flat tyre at the same time. We don't do any big advertising. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes by. It’s just a regular tyre shop on a busy road. We have an old radio that plays music in the background, mostly just to drown out the noise of the trucks on Mks Road. Our hands are almost never clean, no matter how much soap we use.
