V L Mart

V L Mart is located on Atrauli Marg in Dholna. We are pretty close to the Purani Idgah in Kasganj Tehsil. It’s a simple mart where we stock things people need every day. The shop isn't huge, but we try to keep the shelves full of rice, oil, and soap. Most people in the neighborhood know us by name. The road outside can get very muddy when it rains, so we spend a lot of time mopping the floor. It’s just how it is. We open up the shutters early and stay until the sun goes down. There isn't any fancy air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that rattle a bit. Being near the Purani Idgah means we see a lot of people passing by during festivals. We sometimes have boxes of new stock sitting in the aisle because there’s no room in the back. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. People come in to chat as much as they do to buy things. We’ve been in Dholna for a good bit of time now. The street is usually busy with cows and bikes. We don't have a website or anything like that. If people want something, they just walk in and ask. Kasganj is our home, and running this mart on Atrauli Marg is just what we do to get by. It’s a plain, honest little shop for the locals and we are here every day.
