We sit here in the New Railway Colony in Tundla and the trains go by all day long. Scanwell Logistics India Pvt Ltd has been at 263/A for a while now. It's a bit of a dusty spot but we like it because everyone knows where we are. Dealing with logistics in the Firozabad area means a lot of phone calls and checking on trucks that are stuck somewhere. My desk is usually covered in papers and some empty tea cups. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some chairs and a few computers that we use to track where everything is going. The weather gets really hot here in the summer but we keep the fans going and just get on with the work. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to send out the emails. People stop by to ask about their shipments and we just talk to them normally. It is a lot of coordination between the drivers and the warehouse people. We spend a lot of time on the mobile making sure the loading happened correctly. Tundla is a busy junction so there is always movement around us. We just try to keep things moving without too much fuss. Most of us have been working here together for years so we know how things work. It's just a regular office doing regular work every day.
