Shashi Mohan Kangan Store is located in the middle of Purani Mandi. We are right near the Ghanta Ghar, which is the big clock tower everyone knows. It is a very old part of the city. The market around us is always loud and packed with people shopping. We have been in this spot for many years. Our store is quite small, but we managed to fit a lot of items inside. We mostly sell bangles and small accessories. Purani Mandi is the heart of the shopping area here. It can get extremely hot in the summer months. We have a small old fan that tries its best to keep us cool while we work. People come from all over the city to shop near the Ghanta Ghar. We know all the other shopkeepers on this street. We usually sit together and drink tea in the late afternoons when things slow down a bit. It is a very traditional kind of place. We do not have a website or any social media pages. We just have the physical shop where we stand every day. Shashi Mohan Kangan Store is a name that has been around for a long time. We keep our business simple. We open up early in the morning and stay until the market closes late at night. The street is so narrow that cars cannot really pass through easily. It is mostly people walking by. We enjoy the buzz and the history of the area.
