Latdhari Aushadhalay

You’ll find us on Tapa Road in the Bodhasram area of Firozabad. We are quite close to Rama Nanad Garg Inter College, so we see a lot of students walking past our front door every day. Latdhari Aushadhalay is a bit of an old-fashioned place in some ways, filled with the smell of different herbs and preparations. We have shelves lined with bottles and packets, and it takes a while to learn where everything is kept. The floor is made of stone and stays cool even when it’s baking outside. We don’t have fancy neon signs, just a simple place where people come for their traditional remedies. Often, people stop in on their way home from the market or the college. We spend the mornings sorting through the stock and checking what needs to be ordered. It’s a quiet kind of work most of the time, though it gets busy in the evenings when everyone is out and about. The building is old and has its quirks, like the door that sticks a bit if the weather is humid. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a long time, and we know the families around here pretty well. It’s just a straightforward shop where we do our work and talk to the neighbors. No big corporate rules here, just us managing the daily flow of people coming in for their needs. We keep the counters wiped down and try to stay on top of the inventory as best as we can.
