Kiran Bangle Store

Our shop is tucked away in Gali Bohran. If you know the area, you know how these narrow lanes can get. Kiran Bangle Store has been sitting here in this same spot for quite some time. It’s a small space, but we manage to fit a lot of boxes on the shelves. There are bangles in almost every color you can think of. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass counters. It’s mostly local people who stop by while they’re out doing their regular shopping. The lane is always crowded with people and cycles passing through. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There isn’t much room for a lot of people inside at once, so it gets cozy. The lighting could be better, but it’s okay for seeing the shine on the glass. We don’t really go in for big displays or anything like that. People just know where we are. Dealing with bangles is delicate work because things break if you aren't careful. We’ve had the same neighbors for years, which makes the day go by faster. We talk about the weather or how the market is doing while waiting for customers. It’s a simple life in a busy part of town. We just try to keep the stock full and the shop clean. That’s what we do here day after day.
