Ss Traders

Ss Traders is based right here in Jatav Puri. It’s a neighborhood where everyone kind of knows what everyone else is doing. Our shop isn’t very large, but we pack a lot of stuff into the shelves and the back room. We deal with various trading goods that people in the area need. Most of the day is spent talking to suppliers or helping people who walk in looking for something specific. We don't have a big sign out front, just the name painted on the shutter. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, so we have to wipe things down pretty often. My cousin helps out when things get busy, usually on the weekends. We don't have any fancy computer systems for the inventory; we mostly just remember where everything is or check the paper files. It works for us. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break and sit on the stools outside. We've been in Jatav Puri for years, so we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a bit. We just keep doing our thing, buying and selling what’s needed. It's a simple business, nothing too flashy. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the traffic, but other days we don't even have time to eat lunch because the phone keeps ringing.
