Prestige Overseas

Prestige Overseas is based at No. 132/7 in Saraswati Nagar. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our setup here and it suits us fine. We do a lot of coordinating between different suppliers and buyers. It involves a lot of phone calls and even more emails. The space we have is mostly for storage and a small office area where we keep the books. We aren't a massive company with hundreds of employees. It's just a handful of us making sure things run smoothly. Saraswati Nagar is a decent place to be located. We know most of the people on our block. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat while we are unloading a van. We try to keep the noise down out of respect for the houses nearby. The work we do isn't very complicated, but it does require staying organized. If a shipment gets lost or delayed, it’s a headache for everyone, so we try to avoid that. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just do the work and hope people are happy enough to come back. It’s a steady pace most weeks. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about normal things, not just business. It’s just a regular local spot trying to get by.
