G. M. Overseas

We are over on Agra Road, specifically in Ganesh Nagar at B-52. G. M. Overseas is basically where we handle all the export and import details. It gets pretty hectic around here with the courier deliveries and the constant emails about shipping containers. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and a lot of filing cabinets filled with trade documents. We spend half our day on the phone with customs people or checking on where a shipment is stuck. Traffic on Agra Road is always a mess, so we usually just stay put and focus on the computer screens. It's a lot of checking numbers and making sure addresses are correct so nothing gets lost. Sometimes things go wrong, like a delay at the port, and then it’s a long day of fixing it. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the system works. It’s decent work if you don’t mind the stress of deadlines. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and mostly keep to ourselves. The courier address is where most of our paperwork goes, so we are always watching for the delivery guy. It’s a lot of back and forth with international clients and trying to keep the schedule from falling apart completely.
