Durgesh Block & China Glass Works Ltd.

Our place, Durgesh Block & China Glass Works Ltd., sits right on Agra Road. It’s a busy stretch of pavement, and we are right in the thick of it. Working with glass and blocks means things can get pretty dirty and noisy, but we don’t mind it much. The floor is usually covered in a bit of dust from the materials we handle every day. We’ve got stacks of blocks in one area and glass sheets in another, so you really have to know where you’re going when you walk through the doors. The heat can be a bit much in the middle of the day, especially with the sun beating down on the road outside. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner. Instead, we have a space that works for the labor we do. Most of our day is spent moving heavy things or checking the quality of what we’ve got in stock. It’s a simple business, really. We don’t use a lot of big words to describe what we do because the work speaks for itself. People come to us on Agra Road because they know we’ve been here and we know our materials. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s loading a truck or sorting through a new shipment. It’s a long day sometimes, but it’s honest work and we’re glad to be a part of the local scene here.
