Decent Lites

Our shop is at number 01 in the Chandra Complex on Agra road. It’s a busy building with a lot of different people coming and going all the time. Being right on Agra road means there is never a quiet moment with all the traffic outside. We deal mostly with lights and different kinds of fixtures. The space is filled with boxes and parts, so you have to watch where you step sometimes. We spend a lot of time testing bulbs and making sure the wiring is okay on the things we get in. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we don’t mind it. The neighbors in the complex are friendly enough, and we usually grab tea from the same guy every morning. We don’t have a fancy showroom with expensive carpets. It’s more of a working warehouse feel where we get things sorted and sent out. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit and wait, but that’s just how things go around here. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the books and the phone. Most of the day is just spent moving boxes around and checking the inventory. It’s a practical business and we try to keep it simple. Agra road is a good location for us because it’s easy for the transport trucks to pull up nearby when they have a delivery. We just get through the work one box at a time.
