Ceeraj

Ceeraj is located at Raja Ka Tall, right off Agra Road. It’s a well-known spot in this area. We’ve been operating from here for quite some time now. The building is simple and we use most of it for storage and a small office space for the staff. Being on Agra Road means we get a lot of dust from the passing vehicles, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the shelves and the front desk. We deal with various products that we supply to different places around the country. It’s not a high-tech operation. We still use a lot of paper for our records because it feels safer that way for us. There’s a small group of us who work here together. We’ve all lived in this neighborhood for most of our lives. We know the people who pass by and we usually stop to chat for a minute if we aren't too busy with a delivery. The work involves a lot of counting and checking boxes. Sometimes we get a big order and everyone has to jump in to help with the packing and the loading. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we have a couple of fans going all the time to keep the air moving. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just do our business the old-fashioned way, through phone calls and personal visits. It’s a quiet life most days, just keeping the business running and making sure everything is correct.
