Our office is based in Makkhanpur, which is near Shikohabad in the Firozabad district. We set up shop at Jagdish Prasad’s place. It’s a humble location, nothing like the big offices you see in the larger cities. Adishakti India Nidhi Limited is just a small group of local people working together. Most of our day is spent sitting at our desks, talking to folks from the surrounding villages. Life moves a little slower here in this part of Uttar Pradesh. We deal with small savings and loans for the people we know from around the neighborhood. We don’t have a website with bright colors or any of that.
