Rws Flour Mill

Rws Flour Mill is tucked away in Santhipuram Village. If you are looking for us, we are right by the Nedungadappally Post Office. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, part of the Madappally Block area. We’ve been running the mill here for a good bit now. Most days it is just the sound of the belts spinning and the grain hitting the hopper. We get a lot of people from around the village who bring in their own stuff to get milled. It’s not a huge operation, just a couple of us working the machines and making sure the flour comes out the way people want it. Sometimes the weather gets really humid and that makes the grinding take a little longer than usual. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the sign out front. You know how it is in a small place like this. Everyone knows everyone else's business anyway. When the Nedungadappally Post Office is busy, we usually see more people stopping by. We spend a lot of time cleaning the machines after a long day. It’s a lot of manual labor, but it is honest work. The Madappally Block has a lot of farmers, so we stay pretty active during the harvest seasons. We don't try to be anything we aren't, just a local mill doing local work for the neighbors here in Santhipuram.
