You can find us at House No-27 in Shyam Vihar Colony, which is right along the Fazilka Road. We operate out of this spot in Abohar, and it’s a bit of a mix between a home and a warehouse. Shyam Lal is the one who keeps things running here, and we’ve got our granite and marble slabs stored in the open space around the house. The Fazilka Road is a main artery, so there is a lot of noise from the buses and tractors passing by. Working with stone is heavy work, and our days are filled with the sound of slabs being moved and the grit of stone dust under our shoes. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and mirrors. If you want to see the marble, you just walk out into the yard with us and we’ll show you what we have in stock. The weather in this part of Punjab can be really extreme, either freezing cold or incredibly hot, which makes the outdoor work pretty tough. We usually have a pot of tea going in the kitchen for anyone who drops by. It’s a small family-style operation, and we don't try to make it seem like anything else. We just sell the stone that people need for their floors and counters, and we do it right from our own doorstep.
