Somra Engineering Works

Down on New Muktsar Road, you'll find Somra Engineering Works. We are situated in Sardar Budh Singh Nagar, which is part of Mandi Guru Har Sahai. It is a noisy place because of the machines running, but that is how it goes in a workshop. We spend most of our time fixing things or making parts that people need for their machinery. It’s not a clean job; there is always some oil on our hands or dust on the floor. We have been in this spot for some time now and most people around here know where to find us. We don’t have a big office or anything, just the workspace where the actual work happens. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and makes the metal work even tougher, but we just get on with it. We handle a lot of different requests, some small and some that take a few days. It's just a regular local business trying to do things right. The road outside stays busy with trucks and tractors passing by all day. We like being part of this community in Mandi Guru Har Sahai. There is no fancy talk here, just tools and the sound of work being done. If someone needs something repaired or built, they usually just drop by and tell us what’s wrong. We don't use any fancy brochures to explain our work. We just show you what we can do with the machines and get on with the task at hand.
