We have been here in Abohar for a while now. Our place is right on Street No. 2, near the last chowk. If you know the area at all, it is not very hard to find. We deal with cotton spinning. It is dusty work most of the time but someone has to do it. The machinery keeps us busy from morning until late. Most of us living around here know each other by name. Firozpur district has a lot of history with this kind of work and we are just another part of that. We are not a big fancy office with glass walls. It is mostly just the concrete floor and the machines and the noise. People come by to talk about the yarn or just to see how the day is going. We started Abohar Cotspin Llp because we knew the trade. It is what people do in this part of Punjab. Sometimes the power goes out or the weather gets too hot to breathe, but we keep the wheels turning anyway. It is a living. We do not have a big website or a team of people in expensive suits. Just us and the cotton. Street 2 is where we spend most of our time. It is a bit crowded near the chowk but that is just how things are in town. We try to keep things decent without making a big fuss about it. There is no need for fancy words when the product is right there. We are just local people working a local job.
