Op Industries

Op Industries is tucked away in Murain Tola, just off Paud Road in Kothrud. If you know the Hanuman Mandir or the big PNG Jewellers showroom, we are right around there. It’s a lively part of town to work in. We spend most of our time dealing with the actual production side of things. There’s always the sound of machines running or someone loading up a truck. It’s loud and it can get pretty hot in the summers, but it’s honest work. We don't spend much time on fancy office decor. Most of the space is taken up by supplies and whatever we are putting together that week. People around here know us as the place that’s always busy. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow bits near the temple, but we manage to get things out. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. New shops come and go but we stay focused on what we’re making. It’s a family-style setup even if we aren’t all related. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the day's schedule. There’s no big corporate ladder here, just people who know how to use the tools and get the orders ready. We like being part of the local Kothrud community and just doing what we know how to do. We usually keep the workshop fans on full blast.
