Ekk Jutt Bharat Foundation

Ekk Jutt Bharat Foundation is based in the village of Badaal, in the Fatehpur tehsil. It’s run by Kuldeep Singh Pathania’s family. Working from a VPO address means we are right in the heart of the countryside. Life here moves at a different pace than in the big cities of Uttar Pradesh. Our office is part of the family home, so there’s usually some tea brewing and the sound of kids playing nearby. We aren't trying to be a corporate entity. We are just a group of people from the village who wanted to stick together and help out. The name 'Ekk Jutt' means being united, and that’s how we try to live. We don't have fancy office equipment or air conditioning. We sit on the porch or in the main room and talk through whatever issues the neighbors are facing. It’s very direct and personal. Some days we are out in the fields, and other days we are handling paperwork for someone who can't do it themselves. It’s not glamorous work, and we don't pretend it is. We’ve lived in Badaal all our lives, so we know every family and every problem in the area. We aren't trying to change the whole country overnight. We just focus on our little corner of Fatehpur and try to keep everyone united. It’s just a simple, local life for us, doing the small things that matter.
