Fatehpur-212601 is where we’ve been for quite some time now. The crossroads are always busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is heading home. It’s a good spot because people pass by all the time and sometimes they just drop in to ask a question about a piece of land they saw. Our office is fairly basic. We have a couple of desks, some plastic chairs for visitors, and a ceiling fan that makes a bit of a clicking noise when it’s on the highest setting. Uttar Pradesh can get really hot, so that fan is going almost all year. We handle a lot of local paperwork and try to keep track of what’s being built or sold in the district. It’s a lot of manual work, checking records and making sure names are spelled right on the forms. We don't use any fancy software for this, just our ledgers and some basic computer stuff. It feels like a very human way to work. You get to talk to people face-to-face and hear their stories about why they are moving or selling. It’s a steady pace of life here in Sadipur and we don't feel the need to rush things. It is how we prefer to do it.
