B D I College

B D I College is situated in Vill .-Paschimnara, which is near Porabnara in the Soron area of Allahabad. It is a bit of a drive to get out here from the main city center. The college is surrounded by a lot of open space and trees, which makes it feel quite different from the crowded parts of 212405. We have several classrooms spread out across the building. The floors are made of simple stone and we have wooden benches for the students. Most of the people working here have been part of the college for a long time. We spend our days managing the classes and looking after the paperwork in the office. It gets very quiet during the exam times, which is a big change from the usual noise of students talking in the corridors. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights at the entrance. Just a plain board with the name on it. The water cooler in the hallway is where everyone gathers when it gets hot in the afternoon. Sometimes the local goats wander near the boundary wall because it is so rural out here. We deal with the usual problems like slow internet or leaky taps, but we manage to get things fixed eventually. It is a straightforward place for students from the local villages to come and get their degrees without having to go all the way into Allahabad.
