Our place, Aradhya Arts, is located at 67 Anand Puram. We are tucked in right behind the Mission Hospital, so that’s usually the best landmark to give people if they are trying to find us. It’s a busy little area, but our street stays somewhat calm. We’ve been doing this for a while now, mostly focusing on the artistic stuff that people in the neighborhood need. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, from paints to frames and whatever else we’re using at the moment. It’s not a sterile environment; it’s a working shop, so expect some dust and a bit of a mess. We don’t have a big corporate structure. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a local festival or event coming up. We like being near the hospital because it’s a central point that everyone knows. Most of our customers are just people from Anand Puram who walk over. We don’t do much advertising. We just try to be fair and get the work done right. If you come by 67 Anand Puram, you’ll see us there. The building is a bit old, but it serves us well. We’ve lived in this town for a long time and we don’t plan on going anywhere else. It’s just a small, local art shop run by people who care about what they make.
