Swati Gupta

This is the place where I run things, right here at H.No 155 in Ward No. 7. We are really close to the Ramgaria Gurudwara in Morinda. If you know that area in Ropar, Punjab, you know it is a quiet spot most of the time. My name is Swati Gupta and I’ve been set up here for a good bit now. It is a house-based setup, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office. People around here know me, and I like keeping it local. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when there’s a lot going on at the Gurudwara nearby, but generally, it is peaceful enough to think. I didn't want to move to a big city like Chandigarh when I could just do my work right here. The room I use has a big window that looks out onto the street. I spend a lot of my day there. I don't have fancy brochures or a marketing team telling me what to say to people. It is just me and the work I do for the people who need it. My family is around sometimes, and we just make it work together. It is not always perfectly tidy, but the work gets finished. I think it’s better to be honest about how a small business actually looks behind the scenes. We just keep moving forward one day at a time in our little corner of Morinda. It's a decent way to earn a living without all the extra stress.
