You can find us on Amloh Road, right across from Friends Industries. R.M.T. Tools (India) Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this side of the road for a long time. It’s a busy stretch where a lot of manufacturing happens. We spend our days around machines and metal. It’s loud and there’s always the smell of grease in the air, but that’s what we do. We make tools that people use for their own production lines. It isn't a glamorous setup. We have our workshop area and a small space for the office work. The workers have been with us for a while, so everyone knows their role. We don't use fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers and tracked on clipboards. When the trucks come to pick up the finished tools, the whole yard gets crowded. We have to shuffle things around to make room. The road outside can get muddy when it rains, making it hard for the loaders. We just deal with those things as they come. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room with magazines. If you come by, you’ll likely see us in our work clothes, maybe a bit dirty from the shop floor. It’s a practical place for people who need tools that work. We keep the machines running and the gates open. It is a noisy but good life here.
