K. N. Ceramics

Our work happens out in Village Kumbh, right on Amloh Road. It is a bit away from the main hustle of the big towns, which actually helps when you are dealing with ceramics. The site is mostly open space and sheds where we keep the materials and the kilns. It is a dusty job, and by the end of the day, most of us have a bit of clay or grit on our clothes. We do not have a polished office or a sleek waiting room for visitors. Usually, if someone comes by, we just meet them near the main gate or in the small room we use for our paperwork. The road outside can get busy with tractors and trucks, but inside the gates, we just focus on the ceramics. It takes time to get things right, and we do not like to rush the process because the materials need to settle. The weather plays a big part in how we work, especially during the rainy season when things take longer to dry out. We have been at this location for a good number of years now. We know the local people and they know what we do. It is not a complicated business model. We make the products, we store them, and we send them out. It is a steady life and we are happy to be part of the landscape here on Amloh Road. It is just a normal day. (248 words)
