Jsw Steel Limited,Bellary

This branch is a bit different because while the name says Bellary, we’re actually situated way up in Gobindgarh, Punjab. We’re at House Number 59 in Section 4, Block-C. Gobindgarh is famous for being a steel town itself, so it makes sense for Jsw Steel Limited to have a presence here. It’s a long way from Karnataka, but the work feels similar. The air is different here, and the food certainly is too, but the focus on steel is the same. Our office is in a residential block, so it’s fairly quiet compared to being right next to a furnace. We have a small team managing things, and we’ve become quite close over the months. The building is just a standard house that’s been put to use for our daily tasks. We don’t have any big corporate signs or fancy meeting rooms. Mostly, we’re just sitting around a couple of tables with our laptops, making calls and sorting out the logistics for the northern region. It’s a very hands-on way to work. We deal with local transporters and merchants who don't care about corporate polish; they just want to know when the material is arriving. We’ve had to learn the local ways of doing business, which has been an interesting experience. It’s a practical, hardworking spot, and we like the fact that it feels like a real part of the community here in Punjab.
