Engg College

You can find us at House Number 15 in the Power Colony area of Anandpur Sahib. It’s a very significant place to live and work, given the history of this town. Our college is small, and we operate out of this residential-style building. It’s a quiet neighborhood for the most part, which is good for studying. We have been here for a long time, and the locals all know where the Power Colony is. We focus on teaching the basics of engineering to the young people around here. Many of our students come from families that have lived in Punjab for generations. We don’t have any big corporate sponsors or flashy signage. It’s just a gate and a front door. Inside, we’ve set up classrooms and some basic workshops. We spend our mornings in lectures and the afternoons doing practical work. Sometimes the students sit out in the small yard during their break. We try to keep things simple and honest. If a piece of equipment breaks, we fix it ourselves. We aren't trying to be the biggest school in the state, just a reliable place for people in Anandpur Sahib. The staff is like a small family. We celebrate the local festivals together and look out for each other. It’s a decent life, and we are glad to be part of this community. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day.
