Delhi Flour Mill

You can find us at Plot No. 123 and 124 in the Patran area. We are right opposite the Prachin Shiv Mandir and very close to National Highway 52. Because we are so close to the highway, there are always big trucks and cars zooming by our front gate. It is a big space with two plots combined, so we have plenty of room for the milling machines and the storage of the grain sacks. We spend most of our time grinding wheat into flour for the local shops and families who live around here. The sound of the machinery is pretty constant from morning till night. Having the temple across from us is nice because it is a bit of a landmark for people who are trying to find our location. We get a lot of dust on the windows because of the grinding process, so we are always wiping things down with a cloth. The work is repetitive but it is important for the town. We have to keep a close eye on the grain coming in from the trucks to make sure it is dry. Sometimes the highway gets blocked up with traffic and our deliveries are late, which can be a real headache for us. We do not have a big fancy office, just a small room where we keep the records and a place for the drivers to sit and have some water. It is a very practical setup for a mill.
