Baba Farid Hospital

We are situated right near the Tazi Stand on Bhagta Road. Chunni Kalan is a quiet enough place most days, but the road gets busy with people moving through to the next town. The hospital has been here for some time now. It’s not a giant building, just a local spot for the community to use. We see people from all over the local area. Some walk over, some come by bus or on their bikes. It’s easy to find once you get to the stand. We don't have fancy lobbies or any of that polished stuff. Just plain rooms where we can sit and talk to people about what's bothering them. The staff here are all locals from the surrounding villages. We live nearby so we know most of the people who come through the door. Sometimes the wait is a bit long if it's a Monday morning. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. There’s a lot of dust from the road sometimes but we keep the inside as clean as possible. It feels like a real part of the town. Nothing corporate about how we run things. We just open up early and stay until the work is finally done for the day. If you're coming from the main road, just look for the stand and we are right there. It’s a simple setup. We just do what we can for the folks in Chunni Kalan.
