Avtar Foundary & Workshop

We’ve been here on G.T. Road for quite a while now. You can find us right near the Red Light Chowk. It’s a busy spot, but it makes it easy for people to drop by when they need something fixed or cast. My dad started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a kid. The workshop is usually a bit messy with metal scraps and tools lying around, but we know where everything is. We do a lot of foundry work and general repairs. Sometimes it gets loud with the machines running, especially in the afternoons. People from around the neighborhood bring in all sorts of parts that need fixing. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where we get the work done. The guys who work here have been with us for years, so they really know their way around the furnace. We mostly deal with iron and different types of metal casting. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months, but it keeps us busy. We try to keep things simple. If someone has a part that’s broken, they bring it in, we take a look, and tell them what we can do. There isn't much more to it than that. Most days start early and end late, depending on how many orders we have to get through. We just stick to what we know and try to do right by the people who come in.
