Amt International

Our office is situated right along the G.T. Road, which is pretty much always busy. If you spend any time here, you get used to the constant sound of horns and trucks passing by outside. We use P.O. Box 66 for our mail because sometimes things get lost if they aren’t sent to a specific box. The building itself is an older one, with thick walls that help a little bit with the noise, though not entirely. Inside, it’s mostly just desks covered in folders and a few old filing cabinets that have seen better days. We don't have fancy lights or modern art on the walls. It’s just a place where we come to handle international business and stay on top of the shipping schedules. The morning usually starts with checking what came in overnight and getting the tea going. G.T. Road is a historic path, and you can feel that when you look out the window at the mix of old and new vehicles going past. Lunch is usually something we bring from home and eat together in the small back room. There is a lot of paper moving across these desks every day, and we try our best to keep it organized, though it gets messy by Friday afternoon. It’s not a glamorous setup, but it’s where Amt International has been for years, and it works for what we need to do without any extra fuss or corporate polish.
