Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Academy

Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Academy is out in Rori, which is a smaller area in the Sirsa district of Haryana. Being in a place like Rori means we are very connected to the local community. Most of the families around here know each other, and that makes the school feel like a familiar part of the neighborhood. The building is a simple structure that has been standing for a while. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations or high-tech gadgets. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and books. The teachers are folks from around Sirsa who come in every day to do their part. Life here moves at a different pace than in the big cities. We deal with the seasons as they come, from the hot summers to the cold Haryana winters. It’s a very grounded way of living and working. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. We just provide a space for learning and hope the kids get something out of it. The day-to-day operations are handled by a small team who knows the students by name. It’s just a normal school in a quiet part of the state, doing the same work we’ve been doing for years on end.
