Shiv Ocean Marine Education (Opc) Private Limited is located out in Fatehabad Jagrajpur. It is a bit of a quiet spot, away from the main city rush. We mostly focus on maritime education here. It’s an OPC, so it’s a small-scale operation, usually just one or two of us handling the daily tasks. People come to us when they are looking to get into the shipping industry. We talk about the sea and what it takes to work on a vessel. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a practical room with some desks and a few charts on the wall. We spend a lot of our time dealing with admission forms and explaining the basics to young guys from the village. Jagrajpur is where we are based, and we like the slow pace here. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and we have to keep the fans going all day. We don't have a big marketing budget or a polished website. Most of our students find us through word of mouth or just by seeing our sign. We try to be honest about the work on ships because it isn't for everyone. It can be a hard life. We just provide the information and the training needed to get started. It’s steady work for us. We open up early and usually head home once the sun goes down.
