We operate out of House 161 in Model Town. It’s a mix of consulting and agricultural solutions, but we aren't the kind of consultants who wear suits and ties every day. Most of our work involves helping farmers and small agri-businesses figure out the technical side of things. Since we are in Model Town, it’s a bit more central for people to come and visit us. We have a couple of desks and some chairs where we sit down and look at maps or soil reports. The 'Agrico' part of our name is just a shorter way of saying we focus on farming stuff. We try to solve problems that pop up, like when a crop isn't doing well or someone needs to understand a new farming law. It’s a small team, just a few of us who have been around the industry for a while. We aren't here to give flashy presentations. We just talk plain English and try to be practical. Sometimes the office is a mess with papers and samples, but that’s just how we work. People stop by to ask for advice or to see if we have any new ideas for their land. We’ve been in this neighborhood for some time now. We don't do much advertising; mostly people find us through word of mouth. It’s a steady job and we like the feeling of actually helping someone fix a problem on their farm. We keep our overhead low and our advice simple.
