Bunty Photo State

Working at Bunty Photo State in Rattia City means dealing with a lot of paper every single day. The shop is small and sometimes the smell of the toner gets a bit strong when the machines have been running for hours. We are right in the middle of Rattia City, so there is always someone coming in. Most people want copies of their ID cards or school forms. It is repetitive work, but it keeps us busy. Sometimes the paper jams and we have to spend ten minutes poking around inside the machine with a screwdriver. Our hands usually have a bit of ink on them by lunchtime. We eat our tiffin in the back room while the machines stay off for a while. It gets really quiet for about an hour, which is nice. Then the school kids show up and it gets loud again. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is burning hot outside. We have a small calendar on the wall that is a few years old, but we keep it there for the picture of the mountains. People around here know us by name, and we know who is likely to forget their original documents in the scanner. It happens more often than you would think. We just put them in a drawer and wait for them to come back. We keep some extra pens and staples in a box on the counter just in case anyone needs them while they are here.
