Engineer

Down on Dsp Road in Ashok Nagar, Fatehabad, that is where we do our work. We're just "Engineer" on the sign, keeping things straightforward. This part of Fatehabad is familiar to us, and we like the local vibe. The building isn't anything special, just a place to keep our gear and get things done. We spend a lot of time on the floor or hunched over a workbench. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean all day. We have grease on our hands and dust on our boots most of the time. We aren't interested in being the biggest company around. We just want to be the ones who get the job finished. Sometimes the weather in Haryana makes it tough to work, but we push through. We've got a small radio that usually plays in the background, though half the time we don't even hear it because we're focused on a task. There is no corporate manual here or fancy meetings. We just talk about what needs to happen and then we do it. People in Ashok Nagar know where to find us if they have a problem that needs an engineering eye. We've been here long enough that we feel like part of the furniture. It’s a simple life, and the work keeps us grounded. It is hard work, but someone has to do it. That is how we see it anyway. We just keep our heads down and get it done.
