Apex Convent School

You can find Apex Convent School over in E Block of Satish Colony, right here in Fatehabad. It is a nice enough spot, settled into the neighborhood. Most of the families around here know us because their kids or their neighbors' kids go here. The school is not huge, but we make it work with what we have got. We have the standard classrooms, some benches outside for when the weather is nice, and a small office where we keep all the files. Life at the school is pretty predictable. The bells ring, the kids move from one room to another, and there is a lot of chatter during lunch. We do not have fancy uniforms or expensive equipment, just the basics that are needed to teach. The teachers live nearby, so they are really part of the community. Sometimes we have to fix a broken window or a leaky tap, and we just get someone from down the street to come and help. It is that kind of place. Fatehabad can be quite quiet, but the school is always full of energy until about three in the afternoon. We focus on the daily lessons and making sure the kids are doing their homework. It is a practical, local school for local people. We do not try to be anything we are not; we are just here on Satish Colony, keeping the doors open for the next generation.
