We are up here in Una, specifically in Dhamandri, doing the kind of work that involves a lot of dirt and heavy machines. Ab Excavators& Earth Movers Pvt Ltd started because there was a need for someone to move earth around these parts of Himachal Pradesh. It’s not fancy work. Most days we are out on sites dealing with the terrain, which can be a bit of a challenge around here. We have a few excavators and some other gear that we keep running. People in the district know where to find us if they have a project that needs a hole dug or a plot leveled. The weather sometimes messes with our schedule, especially when the rains come, but we just get on with it when we can. Our office is just a regular spot in the village where we handle the paperwork and take calls. It’s mostly just us trying to keep the machines in good shape and getting to the next job on time. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look pretty. It’s more about the grease and the soil. Sometimes the roads are tricky for the big equipment, so that takes up a lot of our planning time. If you’re passing through Vpo Dhamandri, you might see our stuff parked nearby. We’ve been at this for a while now and just keep moving along day by day.
