Udbhav Farmer Producer Company Limited is based over at C/O Shiv Patti1 in Veer Pur. This is right in the Katra Bazar area, which can get quite crowded on market days. Our office is basically just a room in a house where we keep track of who is growing what. Veer Pur is a nice enough place, though the roads could be better. We spend most of our time out with the farmers seeing how the plants are growing. We aren't the kind of people who like sitting behind a desk for too long. If you come by, you might find the door locked because we are all out in the sun. We talk about the weather more than anything else because that is what decides if we have a good year or a bad one. There are no corporate speeches or polished presentations here. We just look at the dirt and the rain and hope for the best. Sometimes we sit around in Katra Bazar and have a snack while we wait for the trucks to arrive. It is a slow life in some ways, but very busy in others. We just want to make sure the farmers in our little corner of the world get a fair deal. We are just regular people with dirt on our hands and a lot of work ahead of us. We keep our promises and we keep moving.
