Om Traders

Our shop, Om Traders, is located in Om Sadan on Kuliya Road. We are in the New Colony area, which is very close to the railway station. You can hear the trains passing by all the time, and the ground vibrates a little when the express ones go through. It’s a familiar sound to us now. The building is an old one, and we use the ground floor for all our trading activities. We move a lot of different goods through here every week. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes to keep everything sorted, especially when multiple deliveries arrive at once. The New Colony is a decent place to work, and we have been here long enough that everyone knows the Om Sadan building. We don't have any big signs, just the name painted near the door. The inside is full of shelves and ledgers. My brother and I run the place mostly, with one or two helpers for the loading. We usually have a kettle going for tea because neighbors often drop in just to say hello or ask about the station schedule. It’s a simple setup we have on Kuliya Road. We aren't trying to be the biggest traders in town, just reliable enough that people keep coming back when they need something. It is a steady life here by the tracks.
