Meena Handicraft & Export Corporation

Our place, Meena Handicraft & Export Corporation, is located at 4/36 in Garhi Hafijulla Khan, Bhikampur. It’s a bit away from the main city buzz, which suits us just fine. The building is an old one, and it’s seen a lot of years. We do a lot of traditional work here, mostly stuff that people have been making in this region for a long time. The workshop floor is usually covered in dust from the materials we use, and there’s always a bit of noise from the tools. We have a group of local guys who come in every day to work on the exports. It’s not a corporate office by any means; it’s a place where people actually make things. Sometimes the cows from the street wander near the entrance, and we have to shoo them away. The rooms are filled with finished products waiting to be crated up and sent to the port. We handle all the paperwork ourselves at a couple of old wooden desks in the front room. The lighting isn't great, but everyone knows what they’re doing by feel anyway. We’ve been in Bhikampur for a long time and everyone in the neighborhood knows who we are. It’s a simple life, focused on the crafts and making sure the pieces are good enough for the people buying them overseas. We don't have any fancy brochures, just the work we do every day with our own hands.
