You can find Ajanta Embroidery & Prints over at No. 2/ 147 on Nakhas Street. It’s a busy street, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. The shop is filled with the sounds of machines and the smell of different fabrics. We don't have a big showroom like some places. Most of our space is taken up by the big tables where we work on the orders. We spend hours every day looking at designs and making sure the prints look right. It’s a lot of detail work, and sometimes our eyes get tired by the end of the day. Nakhas Street is always full of people and noise, so there’s never a dull moment outside our door. We’ve seen many businesses come and go, but we’re still here doing our thing. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just do embroidery and printing. It’s a skill we’ve picked up over many years. Sometimes the machines act up, and we have to spend the afternoon fixing them instead of finishing the work. That’s just how it goes. We like the rhythm of the work. The neighbors often drop in just to say hello or ask for a small favor. We don’t mind at all. It makes the day go faster. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job for people.
