If you head out to Elikatta Village in Farooqnagar Mandal, you will find Aditya Chemicals at Survey Number 465. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it's where we have the space we need for our work. Handling chemicals means we have to be careful and follow certain routines every day. The site is spread out a bit, which is good for safety and for organizing the different stages of what we do. It’s mostly quiet in the village, except for the sounds coming from our facility. We have a small team of workers, many of whom come from the surrounding areas. The building itself is pretty basic, just concrete and metal, designed to be functional rather than pretty. We spend our days checking containers and making sure the mixing is going okay. It can be a bit repetitive, but it’s important work that needs a steady hand. The weather out here in Farooqnagar can get really hot, so we try to do the heaviest lifting in the early morning hours. There isn't much in the way of shops or restaurants right next to us, so we usually bring our own lunch and eat together in the shade of the main building. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we take some pride in keeping the place running smoothly without any big fuss or drama. Every day is about being steady and getting things through the gate.
