We run Thapar Graphic out of Nihal Singh Wala in the Moga district. It’s a smaller town, so things move a bit slower here than in the big cities. We like it that way. Our shop has been a part of the local community for quite a while. Most people in the area know us by name. We don't have a fancy address with a building number; everyone just knows where the shop is located in Nihal Singh Wala. We do all sorts of graphic work for the farmers and local shops around here. The equipment takes up most of the space, so it can get a bit tight when a few people come in at once. We spend most of our time at the desks or checking the prints. It’s honest work and we take it as it comes. Sometimes the power goes out, which is frustrating, but we just wait it out and start again. Moga is a good place to be. We aren't looking to expand into some giant firm. We just want to keep doing what we're doing for the folks in town. It’s a simple life. The winters in Moga can be quite cold, so we usually have a small heater tucked under the desk to keep our feet warm. It’s a quiet existence compared to the city, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything. We don’t have any big brochures or fancy talk. If someone needs something, they just walk through the door.
