Amolak Photography

I started Amolak Photography a while back here in Manjeet Inderpura. We're right near Gur Ladha Singh, which is easy to find if you're in the neighborhood. People come to us when they need photos for weddings or small parties. It's mostly just me and a couple of helpers working out of the studio. We have some cameras and backgrounds set up. It gets busy during the festival season, so the shop is usually full of prints and frames waiting to be picked up. Sometimes the lights act up, but we get the job done. I’ve lived around here my whole life, so I know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s not a fancy place, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time editing on the old computer in the back. If you drop by, you'll probably see us sorting through stacks of albums. The area is usually crowded, so parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We try to keep things simple here. Just taking pictures of people and making sure they look okay. Nothing too complicated or over the top. Most of the time, I'm out on a shoot, but someone is usually around to answer the door. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy enough. We don't have a big sign, just the name on the wall near the entrance.
