Ziya Dance Music

Our place is located on the Ballabhgarh Sihi Gate Road. It’s a spot where we focus on music and dance, though it’s definitely not a professional studio with mirrors on every wall and expensive lighting. It’s more of a community space where people come to learn some steps or practice an instrument. We’ve been here for a bit, and the neighborhood knows us for the sounds coming out of our windows. Sometimes it’s the beat of a drum, and other times it’s kids practicing their dance routines for a local function. We keep things very informal. If someone wants to learn a specific song or a dance style, we just sit down and work on it together. There isn't a strict curriculum that everyone has to follow. We find that people learn better when they’re actually having a bit of fun. The floor is a bit worn from all the dancing, and the instruments have seen better days, but they still sound alright for practice. We get a lot of kids from around the Sihi Gate area who come by after their school hours. It’s a good way for them to spend their time instead of just sitting at home. We don't put on big shows or anything, we just focus on the day-to-day practice. It’s a humble little spot on a busy road, and we like it that way.
